New Warhammer Online Novel Explores the Forces of Destruction
The third Warhammer Online book, Forged aside Topsy-turvydom, shifts perspectives from the goody cardinal shoes of the armies of Order to the violent and chaotic world of Destruction.
Coalition, Guild, whatever you want to call them, the bottom ancestry is: the "good" factions in MMOGs are ever lame. Or leastways don't bring off as compelling fable. No offense, then, to the first two Warhammer Online novels, which focused on the struggles of the nice guys (though I guess they aren't all indeed nice in the world of Warhammer, where it seems like everyone hasn't showered or slept advisable in months) in the Order camarilla, but Forged by Bedlam, the new novel by C.L. Werner, seems a bit much interesting.
Bad aside Topsy-turvyness shines its narrative spotlight along the armies on the Destruction side of the Warhammer rivalry. The book finds the armies of the Chaos camarilla ready to topple the Empire of Man, just they'rhenium not quite an ready to do IT without an insurance insurance policy. That comes in the form of something titled the Spear of Myrmidia, which a troop of Chaos warriors sets out to secure and use to loose some of import bad voodoo on the human beings. Meanwhile, the Brunette Elves and Orcs are also after the Spear up – bad guys, apparently, have a hard time running together.
"Bad by Bedlam provides readers with their first look into the dark, megalomaniacal minds of the forces of Destruction," Mythic's Jeff Hickman said. "Overabundant with internal conflict, shifting allegiances, and a ne'er-ending lust for murder, we run into firsthand how this unholy alliance of Destruction is just as venomous to each early as they are to the armies of Order."
The novel is organism penned by fantasy copyist C.L. Werner, whose credits admit Mathias Thulmann: Witch Hunter and other Warhammer books. It's being published past Warhammer depression The Black Library and will be come out of the closet this fall.
